Google unveils Internet of things platform Brillo


Developed with the engineers from Nest, google’s new Android-based OS Brillo is designed to be highly streamlined, so that any object can communicate with another.

At the I/O 2015 conference, Google has announced that it’s releasing a hyper-efficient OS for the Internet of things: Brillo.Capture12

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Brillo. In fact, the real thing is pretty much what we thought it would be . However, the new Weave standard adds a wrinkle that will probably mean more to developers than the average user. It’s more evidence that Google wants to control the Internet of Things, though.
